Everyone in housing should be able to search and apply for work here, whatever technology they use.
Our approach
We build against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at level AA as our target. That means semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard-operable navigation, visible focus states, sufficient colour contrast, descriptive link text, labelled form fields and alternative text on meaningful images.
Known limitations
Some employer-supplied content — advert copy, uploaded logos and attached documents — is outside our direct control and may not always meet the same standard. If an advert is difficult to read, tell us and we will contact the advertiser.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on the site stops you applying for a role, email hello@housing-jobs.com with the page and what happened. We will reply within five working days and, where we cannot fix it quickly, help you apply another way.
